Jaisalmer War Museum is a must-visit place during Jaisalmer tourism and one of the most underrated attractions. It is conveniently located on the Jaisalmer–Jodhpur Highway, just 10 km from the main city area.

The museum was set up by the Indian Army in 2015 to honor the supreme courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. It mainly remembers and commemorates the heroes of the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars. This museum is an important attraction where visitors can learn about the bravery, history, and pride of the Indian Armed Forces.

Inside, there is a detailed exhibition on the Battle of Longewala featuring real historical photographs, strategic tactical maps, and emotional personal accounts directly from the brave soldiers who fought on the front lines.
