We arrange comfortable Swiss tents with proper beds, clean attached washrooms, and everything you need for a good night in the desert. The tents are spacious, well-maintained, and designed so that the moment you unzip the front, you are looking straight out at open dunes.

Every camp stay includes a welcome with traditional Rajasthani tilak, evening snacks and chai, a full cultural program with Kalbeliya dancers and Manganiyar folk musicians, a buffet dinner with authentic dal baati churma and Rajasthani thali, bonfire, and breakfast the next morning.

Sam Sand Dunes vs Khuri — Which Camp is Better for You

Sam Sand Dunes, about 42 kilometres from Jaisalmer city, is the most popular desert camp location. The dunes here are tall, the sunset views are spectacular, and the energy in the evening is festive. If you want the full desert experience with plenty of activities, Sam is the right choice.

Khuri Sand Dunes, about 40 kilometres from the city in a different direction, is quieter and less crowded. If you want privacy, peaceful mornings, and the feeling of having the desert to yourself, Khuri is better. It is particularly popular with couples and with international travellers who want an authentic, non-touristy experience.

Stargazing — The Part Nobody Talks About Enough

The area around Sam and Khuri has almost no light pollution. On a clear night, which is most nights in Jaisalmer, you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Many of our guests say this alone was worth the entire trip. We have a simple rule at camp — no DJ, no loud music after 10 PM. The desert has its own sound. It deserves to be heard.
