Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, Sam Sand Dunes, Kuldhara Village and Longewala War Memorial are the absolute must visit places. If you have 2 nights and 3 days you can comfortably cover all of these plus Tanot Mata Temple and Bada Bagh.
Minimum 2 nights and 3 days for all the main places. For the complete experience including border trips and hidden gems — 3 nights and 4 days is ideal.
The village was abandoned overnight in the early 1800s by the entire Paliwal Brahmin community. Nobody knows exactly why or where they went. The ruins are still there exactly as they were left. The atmosphere inside is eerie and unlike anywhere else in Jaisalmer. Whether it is haunted or not — it is one of the most fascinating places you will ever visit.
Completely safe. Longewala and Tanot Mata are visited by thousands of tourists every year. Our drivers know the route perfectly and handle all the military checkpost formalities. Just carry your government photo ID.
Sunset between 4 PM and 7 PM is the most popular and most beautiful time. Sunrise between 5 AM and 7 AM is the most peaceful. October to March is the best season overall.
Sam is larger, more dramatic and better for first-time visitors. Khuri is quieter, more peaceful and more intimate — better for those who want a private experience away from crowds. We recommend visiting both if you have the time.
Yes — all three are within easy walking distance of each other in the old city area. A comfortable half day walking tour covers the fort, havelis and Gadisar Lake without needing a taxi for every stop.
